Most adults still have competitive fire. They're just not playing college ball anymore. Not chasing championships. Not getting trophies. This challenge gives that back. A clear target. A real test. A reason to train. A reason to post. A reason to say, I did that.
The exact distance of the Pamplona run. Santo Domingo to the bullring. Cobblestone, blood, and tradition.
The rocket fires at 8:00 AM every morning of the festival. That's why your pull-ups are 8.
Six fighting bulls are released each morning, joined by six steers. That's why Official Bull is 6 rounds — and why each round includes 12 sit-ups.
The festival runs July 7–14. Eight mornings. Eight rocket fires. That's why Black Horn is 8 rounds.
The actual encierro takes about three minutes from rocket to bullring. That's why Rising Bull is 3 rounds — one for every minute of the run.
Runners wear white for purity and a red scarf for the martyrdom of San Fermín. That's why our colors are what they are.
Rising Bull (3 rounds), Official Bull (6 rounds), or Black Horn (8 rounds, under 75 minutes). Choose One-Day or Eight-Day format.

Every number in the challenge mirrors the actual Running of the Bulls in Pamplona. 875 meters is the exact route distance. The 8 pull-ups represent the 8:00 AM start time of the encierro. The 12 sit-ups represent the 6 bulls and 6 steers released each morning. Round counts represent the 3 minutes of the run (Rising Bull), the 6 bulls (Official Bull), and the 8 festival days (Black Horn). Nothing is random.
Within a round, yes — complete the loop as designed: 875m run, then 8 pull-ups, then 25 push-ups, then 25 squats, then 12 sit-ups. Between rounds, rest as needed. For the One-Day format, all rounds happen in a single session. For the Eight-Day format, complete one round per day across the festival window.
Black Horn finishers must complete all 8 rounds in under 75 minutes for an official Black Horn finish. Anyone can do 8 rounds eventually — Black Horn is reserved for those who can do it under pressure. Going over the cap doesn't mean disqualification from the leaderboard, but it doesn't earn the Black Horn classification.
No. Pick the One-Day or Eight-Day format. Both are official. Both count. The One-Day version carries more prestige.
Pick the Rising Bull division — assisted pull-ups or dead hangs are allowed. Or scale to assisted pull-ups in Official Bull.
Founding Bulls submit verification through the official portal. Requirements: visible timestamp in the video frame (a phone or clock showing date and time works), continuous footage of each round with no edits that obscure the work, and a complete round log. Top 10 finishers per division are subject to spot audits, which may include follow-up footage or witness confirmation. Free attempters don't need to submit anything — but they don't get on the official leaderboard either.
Yes. Top finishers in each division get featured across our channels — official spotlight post, Strava Club feature, and inclusion in the annual Founding Bulls retrospective. Top 3 in each division receive exclusive Champion-tier merch only available to ranked finishers. Year One champions earn a permanent place in the Hall of Founding Bulls.
